The second annual "Casino Night" will be held on Saturday, August 21, in an on going effort to broaden and enrich the future of the Santa Monica Family YMCA, primarily in the area of youth programs.
For a $20 tax-deductible donation, attendees will get a little bit of the Vegas night life, with casino chips to the blackjack, roulette and craps tables good for valuable prizes. More gifts will be doled out at a silent auction, and food and non-alcoholic beverages will be served.
The Santa Monica Evening YMCA Men and Santa Monica Breakfast Y's Men will collaborate on the event, which will take place from 7 to 11 p.m. in Cantwell Auditorium at St. Monica's Catholic Church.
The Santa Monica Family YMCA has been part of the community for more than 65 years. This event marks one of many in the newly thriving area of community outreach. For reservations and more information, call (310) 581-3355.
