haleARTS S P A C E in Santa Monica will host an opening reception celebrating the work of Ana Matallana and F. Tosca Donato from 5-8 pm today, Feb. 22.
Peruse accessibly priced work while enjoying white wine and freshly popped popcorn.
In her series ‘La Femme,’ Matallana features black and white portraits of women, often using color to highlight the dangerous or fetishized elements that are commonly associated with beauty.
