About 1,200 people converged at Santa Monica’s 18th Street Arts Center on Saturday afternoon for the 4th annual BAM Fest (Beer, Art and Music Festival).

The event featured tastings from more than 40 craft breweries, four live bands, tours of the art galleries, food trucks, and free giveaways.

The event raised $49,824 with all proceeds going to the 18th Street Arts Center, a 25-year-old, influential non-profit arts organization.

The center is located at 1639 18th Street. Visit 18thstreet.org for more information.

Hurray for alcoholics! Fuggin booze hounds trying to look like charitable people. Charge $4 a glass and you would raise double that but instead you draw out all the lushes who just want all they can drink beer. Way too many drunk people leaving that event.
