In celebration of Santa Monica's 2nd annual Eat Well Week, the Santa Monica Convention & Visitors Bureau is encouraging the community to create customized "wellness pairing" experiences.

Eat Well Week, which launched Sunday and runs through Sunday, Jan. 12,  has more than a dozen top restaurants offering discounted prix fixe menus and new healthy menu options that satisfy both the wallet and waistline.

The SMCVB has also compiled a list of activities from the Santa Monica wellness community for the New Year (see link at bottom of article).

One popular idea: discover Santa Monica on bike.
