Man Shot In Shoulder In Malibu Friday Night Not Cooperating With Authorities:

A man who is recovering from a shotgun wound to his shoulder in Malibu Friday night is not cooperating with Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department deputies.

Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station Lieutenant Robert Wiard said a motorist was flagged down by a male adult pedestrian in the 4400 block of Encinal Canyon, Malibu just before midnight on Friday.

“The man told the motorist he had been shot with a shotgun,” Wiard said. “The motorist summoned emergency personnel. The victim was transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder.”

Wiard said the victim was uncooperative with deputy personnel, and the suspect(s) are outstanding at this time.

Detectives are asking that if anyone has information regarding this incident to contact the Malibu/Lost Hills Station at 818.878.1808.

Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can either call “LA Crime Stoppers” by dialing 800-222-TIPS (8477), text the letters TIPLA plus the tip to CRIMES (274637), or use the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
