Santa Monica City Clerk’s Office Now Provides Passport Services

Planning an international family vacation, studying abroad, or going on an exotic honeymoon? Getting your passport for whatever trip you have planned just got a lot easier in Santa Monica.
The City of Santa Monica City Clerk’s Office is now a designated United States Passport Acceptance Facility. This means residents can get their first-time passport or passport card, passport photos, and expedited processing, all at the convenient City Hall location.
The first day of passport service will be today. Passport services will be available Monday-Thursday and alternating Fridays from 9 am to 2:30 pm. Appointments are required.
When coming to your appointment make sure you bring:
· Original Evidence of U.S. citizenship
· Original Identification
· Payment for fees

Appointments should take approximately 30-40 minutes and you will receive your passport within 4-6 weeks. Expedited services are also available for an extra fee.
The City Clerk’s office is centrally located at City Hall, 1685 Main Street, Room 102. Convenient, ample parking is available at the Civic Center structure and lot. Come take advantage of this one-stop location for passports and photos.
