Pacifica Christian High School's softball team has had an up-and-down season so far during the 2014 campaign. However, standout Chandler Dolan has been the one steady constant for the Seawolves this season.

Only a sophomore, Dolan has been outstanding at the plate and on the mound. She is second in the Liberty League with a batting average of .587, second in slugging percentage (.891) and third in runs batted in (15), fourth in scoring (15) and third in on-base percentage (.612).

Even more impressive than what she has done at the plate is what Dolan is doing pitching. Dolan has practically been lights out on the mound, leading the league in strikeouts with 85 Ks in just a little over 49 innings.

The batting average for opponents against Dolan this season is .176. Before the Seawolves dropped an 11-1 decision to Rolling Hills Prep on April 10, Dolan played a big hand in Pacifica Christian defeating three consecutive opponents. During that stretch, Pacifica Christian, beat Environmental Charter (8-3), Bright Star (14-0) and Heritage Christian (14-8).

In that three-game span, Dolan struck out 26 batters, including recording 14 Ks in a one-hit outing against Bright Star. Dolan has helped the Seawolves to a 6-8 record this season. While the Seawolves have depended heavily on the play of Dolan this season, the team's success is far removed from just being reliant on one person to get the job done.

Dolan has had a running partner with her all season in Emma Miller. Miller is fourth in the league in batting average (.558), fifth in slugging percentage (.790), first in runs scored (23) and second in on-base percentage (.627).  Miller is also a defensive ace, leading in the league in fielding percentage (.980).

Miller (24) is second only to Dolan (27) in the number of hits this season for the Seawolves. Pacifica Christian plays its next game April 22 against Marymount.
