225 Firefighters Respond To Malibu Brusher Caused By Traffic Crash

A traffic crash is believed to have caused a three-alarm brush fire that apparently sparked a second, smaller fire in Malibu Friday afternoon, closing a busy canyon road.

Santa Monica Fire Department Chief Scott Ferguson will leave his post May 10 to lead the Murrieta Fire Department.
