NFL Owners' Committees To Evaluate Chargers, Raiders, Rams Applications To Move

Three committees of NFL owners will begin two days of meetings in New York City today to evaluate the applications by the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders and St. Louis Rams to move to the Los Angeles area.

Rose Bowl Game Opponents Visit Disney California Adventure

The Stanford football team arrived in Southern California today, then joined Iowa, its opponent in the 102nd Rose Bowl Game New Year's Day, in a visit to Disney California Adventure.

Lawry's The Prime Rib has been hosting the Beef Bowl in the lead up to the Rose Bowl since 1956.

Iowa To Participate In Beef Bowl For First Time Since 1990

The Iowa football team is scheduled to participate in the 60th Beef Bowl today at Lawry's The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills, one day before its opponent in Friday's 102nd Rose Bowl Game, Stanford.

The Rose Bowl Operating Company Board voted Wednesday night not to reply to a request for a proposal from the NFL for the Rose Bowl to become a temporary home for an NFL team.

Cody Williams was instantly paralyzed during a tackle playing football for Santa Monica High School in 2009. The now 21-year-old is going after a new kind of wheels other than his wheelchair: a pickup truck.
