Missing Swimmer Off Santa Monica Pier, Not Found

County lifeguards and divers ended their search near the Santa Monica Pier for a swimmer reported to be in the water and who was last seen clinging to a pylon near the pier.

S.T.E.A.M Fair Saturday at Santa Monica Pier

Hundreds of middle school, high school and college students as well as parents, educators and guests will hit the iconic Santa Monica Pier for the third annual S.T.E.A.M. Machines Innovation Fair and Rube Goldberg Machine Competition on Saturday.

As part of Heal The Bay’s Santa Monica Pier Aquarium’s 30th anniversary celebration, entry will be free on Wednesday, Dec. 2 from 2 pm to 5 pm.

Pacific Park Joins Worldwide Landmarks To Honor Paris

Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will honor Paris with its blue, white and red Ferris wheel light display of colors and patterns this weekend.

Middle School and High School students are invited to design a concept for a public artwork at the Santa Monica beach using renewable energy technologies as your sculptural material.

Design Competition Combines Renewable Energy, Art For Santa Monica Pier

A unique STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, math) design competition from the Land Art Generator Initiative (LAGI) began Aug. 15 that challenges anyone below age 19 to design creative applications of renewable energy technologies, cleanly harnessing natural forces (solar, wind, wave, tidal, etc.) for electricity.

The Santa Monica Pier's hit summer wellness program, Hey There Muscles, was back for the second year of free weekend workouts. Led by the original Hulk himself, Lou Ferrigno, his daughter Shanna and their rotating team of fitness gurus, the Saturday morning program ended on a high-note Aug. 8 at the west end of the Pier.

Twilight Concert Series Returns To Santa Monica Pier Thursday For 10 Weeks

It’s that time of the year again – Twilight Concert Series at the Santa Monica Pier returns this coming Thursday with Morris Day & the Time headlining the opening show.

A new set of stairs will be built on the south  side of Santa Monica Pier near the existing stairs, which will will also be replaced and widened.
