City Of Santa Monica Unveils New Online Registration For Programs, Services:

Accessing the City of Santa Monica’s programs and services is now a lot easier after the Community and Cultural Service Department unveiled its new online registration and reservation platform.

This new system has the capabilities to allow the public to register for activities, view facility availability, as well as renew Activity Passports for drop-in recreation centers such as tennis courts, Swim Center, The Cove, Santa Monica Skatepark, and Memorial Park Gym and Fitness Room.

The new system is a result of the City of Santa Monica’s dedication to improve customer service and efficiency while making the different programs and services more accessible to community members.

This registration and reservation system will boast new features such as:

— User-friendly look and feel with easier navigation

— Improved search capabilities, making it easier to find new activities

— Automatic online account approvals when creating new accounts

— Only one account is needed to get access to a wide range of community programs and services

— Ability to view facility availability

— Access to reserve Reed Park tennis courts and Ocean View tennis courts online

— Easy payment options for drop-in recreation programs with use of an Activity Passport

This new system has replaced its predecessor RecEnroll. Active RecEnroll account holders experience a seamless transition between both registration systems as current accounts transferred over to the new system with use of the same username and password as they used with their RecEnroll account.

Other features such as a mobile friendly platform and expanded on-line permit reservations are expected to be rolled out by summer of 2014.

The new registration and reservation system will make it easier for the community to stay active and take advantage of the valuable programs and services the City makes available for its residents.

For more information on the new registration and reservation system, visit www.smgov.net/reserve or call 310.458.8300.
