Move For Hunger is partnering with 123 Moving & Storage in Santa Monica to host a community food drive to help end hunger in the L.A. County community.
Donations will be collected from Sept. 15 through Sept. 21 at 123 Moving & Storage location at 2411 Lincoln Blvd. in Santa Monica.
All donated items will go to support the members of the community who rely on the Westside Food Bank as their primary source of nutrition.
Any donation makes a difference, but most needed items include: canned beans, condiments, peanut butter, soups, rice, baby food and formula, fruit juice, cookies and crackers, and pasta.
“It’s great to see our movers get involve in their communities in order to fight hunger,” said Adam Lowy, Executive Director of Move For Hunger. “We know the 123 Moving & Storage Community Food Drive will be a success, and we can’t wait to see the outcome of the drive.”
