Curtailing development should be a priority. Controlling the expansion of traffic by curtailing development would be another.

Stop the high density development the City keeps initiating, it's ruining Santa Monica. We can barely get around with all the traffic now, yet they keep building more apartments.

Low income and affordable housing for seniors. There just isn't enough affordable housing for seniors. By the time a person finds out about affordable housing vacancies the apartments are taken.

Provide investigators to oversee that section 8 or low income apartmenta are really given to the low income people. Make SURE that these units are not rented out to persons not low income ie; as was the case at 20th

Hire some honest people who love their job at section 8 department! Those women there are a sad way of showing that the city cares about people in need of assistance or in need of some of help with housing.

How much development and density is too much for our small city - population 95, 000 - 11.5 miles all inclusive ? It's important for City government and the population at large to critically examine this question. Especially given Santa Monica's long history of striving towards full sustainability.

Homelessness is one of the main reasons we're leaving Santa Monica in the New Year.

Shouldn't you be posting the results with the highest rating to the lowest? I'd like to know why you posted the results in this manner.

Homeless is definately number 1. Short of changing the climate I am afraid there will always be that problem in SM.
