YMCA Offers Free Swimming Lessons:

Children and adults can learn to swim and receive pool safety tips during the Santa Monica YMCA’s annual Splash Week March 21 to 25, 2005.

The free five-day program includes instruction in such basic swimming skills as floating, kicking and stroke development. People who take the entire five-day program will receive certificates of recognition. For more information, contact the Santa Monica Family YMCA.A 100-year-old community service organization, the YMCA offers a full schedule of low and no cost programs that foster growth in spirit, mind and body.
