Following an 11-0 win in the first round of the CIF softball playoffs, Santa Monica High lost by the same score in the second round. Samohi defeated Santa Paula in a home game, then lost to Millikan of Long Beach on the road. Coach Debbie Skaggs’ team won all 10 of its Ocean League games. With an array of sophomores and juniors, Samohi is expected to be strong again next season.Following its victory over Santa Monica, Millikan won its next playoff game, 2-1 over Hemet.
