St. John’s Board Announces CEO’s Departure July 22:

The Boards of Directors of St. John’s Health Center and Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System issued the following statement Friday:

“Bruce Lamoureux has announced his resignation as President/Chief Executive Officer of Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, effective July 22, 2005. A national search will be conducted for his replacement, and it is anticipated that this search effort will be accomplished within the next five to six months. Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer Lou Lazatin will serve as Interim President/Chief Executive Officer until a permanent appointment is made.

“Bruce Lamoureux has been a valuable asset to Saint John’s during his 28-year career with the Health Center, and we are saddened to see him leave. His dedication and leadership have been an inspiration to all who have been fortunate to have worked with him.”
