It makes one long for the good old days, like the Clinton years when gas was less than a $1 a gallon at times and cheaper than bottled water. Most media accounts of rising gas prices fail to mention that our invasion of Iraq shut down crude production and took about 2 million barrels of oil off the market each day. Iraq is now an oil importing nation, just like the United States.
