SM Dem Club Will Debate Propositions:

The Santa Monica Democratic Club will debate the propositions on the November special election ballot tonight, September 28, at 7 p.m. at St. Anne’s Community Room at 20th & Colorado in Santa Monica.

Some Democratic party leaders are urging a NO vote on all propositions, others urge YES votes only on 79 and 80 (consumer medicine prices and re-regulation of utilities).

The audience can take part in the discussion during an “open mike” segment, and the public is invited to call (310) 396-7194 to share their concerns with like minded Democrats.Everyone is invited to attend. Free parking is available and refreshments will be served.
