Big Blue Offers Fall Day Trips:

Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus announced last week that it will offer “Getaways,” day trips to Southern California fall events and locations, including a Danish village, Palm Springs, Santa Barbara, and, finally, the Rose Bowl Game and Parade.

The trips are part of what Big Blue officials describe as “the community transit initiative [we are] developing.”

“These day trips are the perfect escape that require no planning, no fighting traffic, to parking hassles, and saves a bundle on filling up your tank,” said Dan Dawson, Customer Relations Manager. “These trips are great adventures for out-of-town guests that come in for the holidays.”

On the fall Getaway schdule arePalm Springs and Casino, Saturday, November 19, $30; Solvang Danish village and Parade, Saturday, December 3, $35; 117th Rose Parade (includes grandstand seating), Monday, January 2, $67; 92nd Rose Bowl Game (Transportation only), Wednesday, January 4, $30.
