The return of the Saturday Pico Farmers’ Market to its home base in Virginia Avenue Park, after its two-year run at Santa Monica Airport, last Saturday, was also the unofficial opening of the expanded and refurbished Park, which was in the works for more than a decade.The official re-opening of the park will be celebrated at a festival early next month.
