Last week’s Council meeting was particularly significant, but people who wanted to see the replay on CityTV (channel 20) were doomed. There was no sound for one entire replay and half of the another. And, on Saturday, there was neither sound nor picture – just a Sony logo. The last time we looked, CityTV’s budget allocation was over $500,000 annually. Surely, then, it can afford to have someone punch the “play” and “volume” buttons on a regular basis, as well as occasionally checking the screen.
