Some of the 53 mature marijuana plants and 109 immature plants discovered by Santa Monica Police in a storage building in the 1600 block of Ocean Park Blvd. on April 5, 2006. Lawrence G. Williams, 45, of Santa Monica, was booked as one “who plants, cultivates, harvests, dries, or processes any marijuana…” The search was conducted with a warrant that was obtained based on complaints about “an odor of marijuana in the vicinity” of the building, according to SMPD Lt. Frank Fabrega.
