This color chart presents information gathered from a survey of District middle and high school students that is part of the Master Facilities planning process. 535 students were asked, “Where are the problem areas in current schools?” Each color reflects a certain facility, i.e., yellow for bathrooms. The placement of the facility in a column under a school name reflects the ranking students gave it for needing to be upgraded. JAMS stands for John Adams Middle School. Malibu is Malibu middle and high school. Lincoln is Lincoln Middle School. SAMOHI stands for Santa Monica High School and SMASH is an abbreviation for Santa Monica Alternative Schoolhouse.
