Former Santa Monica Mayor Cleared by Green Party:

After an investigation that has gone on for several years, former Santa Monica Mayor Mike Feinstein has been cleared of any wrongdoing by the Green Party of California.

The incident had to do with whether Feinstein properly handled funds from 2000 and 2001 for the Pico Blvd. Green Party office. The Green Party of California’s internal inquiry has concluded that all money in question went to help run the Santa Monica office, and in no way did Feinstein misappropriate any funds.

Says the former mayor, “Looking ahead, as a co-founder of the Green Party of California, I look forward to continue building the Green Party. Our country and our planet need the United States to have a true multi-party system that actually accurately represents the real range of political views in our nation.”
