The name of Fire Captain Daniel M. Bendiksen was added to the permanent plaque commemorating “police officers and firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty to protect the citizens of Santa Monica” in ceremonies at the Public Safety Facility’s Memorial Plaza on Saturday, July 22, 2006.
