Name That Park:

The City of Santa Monica is currently taking suggestions for a new park at Santa Monica Airport.

The park will be at the corner of Airport and Centinela Avenues, and be kid, dog and everyone friendly. It should be open early next year.

When thinking of names, it might be useful to know about the history of the airport, which can be found at www.smgov.net/ airport/n_airport_h.aspx.

You can turn in your entry via the City’s website, www.smgov.net; email, commservices@smgov.net; fax, 310.576.1539; or go to City Hall, room 210. Suggestions must be in by August 25.
