Dinushka Silva, 5, and his parents, Hemamali and Dino, drove from Orange County to join festivalgoers from throughout Southern California at Sri Lanka Day on the Third Street Promenade on Saturday, August 26. The festivities included music, dance, theatre, beauty pageants, food and retail booths. The Perahera, a traditional procession, took place in the afternoon.
