Lighthouse Advances With Two Playoff Victories:

Lighthouse Christian of Santa Monica won its first two matches in the CIF 5AA girls’ volleyball playoffs.

A first round win over Milken in the Crossroads gym, 25-12, 25-20, 25-13 was followed by a second round conquest of West Valley Christian, 25-20, 9-25, 25-20, 26-24.

Lighthouse benefited from being the No. 1 seed from the Harbor League. Lighthouse and New Roads split their two matches to finish 9-1 in the league but Lighthouse was given the higher seed because it won the second of the two meetings.
