Samohi Soccer Teams Get Playoff Victories:

The boys and girls soccer teams of Santa Monica High both won their first round CIF soccer matches.

The boys defeated Arroyo Grande, 2-1, while the girls had a 1-0 overtime victory over San Luis Obispo.

Both of Crossroads’ teams were eliminated in the first round. The boys lost to Carpinteria, 4-0, and the girls were defeated by Oaks Christian, 1-0.
