Nine Junior Rowing members of the California Yacht Club in Marina del Rey participated in the recent 2007 USRowing Youth National Championships held in Batavia, Ohio. (l-r) Palisadian Anna Rasmussen and Westchester resident Katie O’Hanlon placed 5th in the Women’s Double Sculls. O’Hanlon also placed 5th in the Women’s Single Scull among Junior Rowers nationwide.

SMMUSD Appoints Co-Interim Superintendents:
The Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District (SMMUSD) Board of Education approved the contracts of Christopher King, Ph.D. and Sylvia Rousseau, Ed.D. as co-interim superintendents at its June 29 regular board meeting.
