On Thursday, July 28, at 1:24 a.m. officers of the Santa Monica Police Department were on a routine patrol on the streets of Santa Monica when they received a radio call informing them that there was a possible burglary in progress at a residence in the 2500 block of 4th Street. The officers sped to the location and when they arrived they spotted a man’s legs hanging out of a broken window of the kitchen area of an apartment.
