Complaints Lodged on Montana Avenue Store:

The City Attorney’s office has received complaints regarding Room With A View, a longtime high-end Montana Avenue store in Santa Monica, which went out of business in May 2007. The complaints have been from customers who paid for merchandise but never received it.

The owners of the business, which was located at 1600 Montana Avenue, have not replied to letters and phone calls from the City Attorney’s office and an investigation is ongoing.

Persons who have similar complaints about Room With A View should contact Paula Rockenstein, Consumer Affairs Specialist, in the City Attorney’s Office at 310.458.8336.
