Main Street hot spot Mor Bar is calling it a night with a string of Halloween parties leading up to its November 3 closing event. Highlighting the week of happenings is the final installment of DJ collective Moontribe’s $2 Tuesday series. The event will feature spots from original desert party DJs John Kelley, Brad, Brian Seed, and John Kelley along with Matt X, a veteran of the Manhattan rave scene. Expect a solid mix of breakbeat, house, techno, and other assorted dance floor goodies.

A former member of Brazilian pop band O Espirito da Coisa, Moraes has also worked with such artists as Sergio Mendes, Airto Moreira, and Banda Cheiro de Amor. Performing as part of the Skirball’s Café Z series, Moraes is bound to provide a perfect accompaniment for the outdoor surroundings.
