John Vidas rushes through the obstacle course, competing for the chance to win the first Dunkin’ Donuts Shopping Cart Derby, which took place at Santa Monica Pier on Saturday, December 8. The event celebrated the launch of Dunkin’ Donuts packaged coffee across the country, and the prizes were a two-year, one-year, or six-month coffee supply. The derby, hosted by Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos, who once worked at the donut chain, also raised funds for America’s Second Harvest – the Nation’s Food Bank Network, and area food banks. For each team that entered, P&G Coffee gave a $300 donation to America’s Second Harvest. photo by Margaret Molloy
