As part of Castle Heights Elementary School’s bi-annual Bookfair, students and their parents gathered last Saturday at the Promenade’s Barnes & Noble to listen to the children – kindergarteners through 5th graders – read. Some youngsters chose their own work to share, while others read from their favorite books. Pictured is 2nd grader Amanda Toothman with her teacher, Ms. Colina.
