Fairfax Nips Palisades:

Palisades High, with one of the best boys basketball teams in its history, had a high profile home game against defending state champion Fairfax Friday night, January 11.

 Palisades lost, 57-53, and entered the second week of Western League play with an overall 17-3 record.

 Palisades began its league schedule two days earlier by winning at Hamilton, 83-41.
