SMC Women Win Easily:

It isn’t often that the Santa Monica College women’s basketball team dominates a game from start to finish, but that was the case Wednesday, January 23.

SMC routed Bakersfield, 96-48, in Corsair Pavilion. SMC took a 10-2 lead and kept on pulling away as coach Lydia Strong’s full-court defensive pressure wore down the Renegades in the Western State Conference game.

Center Jasmine English prevailed inside and had ample help from Dakiya Covington, Zedra Slaton, Ashley Abrahams, and others.
