Santa Monica Gem Keeps Shining:

In the words of the famous Bard, “All’s Well That End’s Well,” for after two and a half harrowing months of uncertainty, Albert Andonian Jewelry has found a new home at 1327 Santa Monica Boulevard, between 14th and Euclid Streets, just down the street from its former location next to the NuWilshire Theatre.

“With only two weeks to go before we were kicked out,” said Albert Andonian, “I saw a ‘For Lease’ sign in front of this store. It was a nail salon with one and a half years left on the lease. I believe this was a gift from God.”

The Andonian brothers, Albert and Bernard, moved into their spacious new digs on January 26 and are deep in the process of unpacking and showcasing their vast array of jewelry. “We’re still in the red as our rent doubled, but we’ll be fine in a few months, as we should now be able to service more customers in our 1,100 square-foot space, which is almost triple the size of our old store.”

The brothers have been fixing jewelry in Santa Monica since 1975.
