Of Particular Interest: 6th Annual Earth Day on the Promenade

Environmentally-conscious Santa Monica celebrates Earth Day 10 days earlier than the official date. This event will feature many booths with exhibits about energy conservation and green products (water-less car wash, environmentally responsible investing, eco-diving, free food, etc.) as well as continuous entertainment by local rock, folk, and world music performers, plus an appearance by City Councilmember Kevin McKeown, who will talk about Santa Monica’s environmental sustainability.10am-7pm, free, all three blocks of Third Street Promenade, earthdayla.org.
