New V.A. Housing: Shriver Says Not Enough:

1. City Councilman Bobby Shriver showed Patrick Campbell, Legislative Director of Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans Association, based in Washington, DC, around buildings he is trying to get made available for housing and services for homeless veterans at the VA facilities in Westwood on Thursday, July 10. 2. Santa Monica City Councilman Bobby Shriver is trying to get three buildings at the VA facilities in Westwood made available for housing and services for homeless veterans- building 205, 208 and 209 in Parcel C.

3. & 4. New Directions provides housing and services for homeless veterans on the grounds of the VA facilities in Westwood. Operational for 6yrs, 70% of all employees are former clients of the program. Photos by Margaret Molloy
