Santa Monica College’s football team has begun practice for the upcoming season.Because Corsair field is unavailable due to the installation of FieldTurf, the team is practicing on the baseball field at Santa Monica High School in the evenings.SMC will play its first three games on the road and won’t have a home game until the end of September against LA Valley.Corsair Field has had natural grass throughout its history.
