Pico Youth and Family Center hosted a special event – a poetry talk titled “Intelligence as an Alternative Energy Source” with Native American activist and spoken word artist John Trudell on Saturday, November 8. Trudell spoke first about the issues of identity, power, and toxic environments for the human spirit, and then read from his new book ,Lines from a Mined Mind.
