Patricia Isasa was 16 when she was abducted and became one of the “disaparacidos” of Argentina. A survivor of that time known as “the dirty wars,” Isasa will be the subject of this presentation by palisadians for peace, School of the Americas, and the Church in Ocean Park. Commentary will be provided by anti-torture activist Demissie Abebe, and there will also be music by Jose-Luis Orozco and Peter Dudar, as well as fresh tamales for sale.

The old finger game gets a literal meaning here as rock bands perform to benefit art (the Santa Monica Museum). Raymond Pettibon will be reuniting with The Niche Makers, Ron English with Electric Illuminati, and local hero Mike Watt with the secondmen. Complimentary refreshments will be provided by Library Alehouse, Casa Noble Tequila, and Iron Horse Vineyards.
