Brentwood Loses Green For Season:

Ben Green, Brentwood’s 6-foot-8 tight end, will miss the entire football season due to a knee injury suffered in la crosse.

“Ben would have been a key player on the team,” said Coach Patrick Brown. “He came to Brentwood as a la crosse player and was developing his football skills. He made some important plays for us last season and we were going to have him play defensive end too this season.”

The injury occurred prior to Brentwood beginning football practice on Monday. Adjusting to Green’s loss will be one of Brown’s tasks in early workouts.
