Venice Neighborhood Council Election Results:

As of April 13, unofficial results of the April 11 Venice Neighborhood Council (VNC) election are as follows:

President: Linda Lucks is leading with 684 votes; her write-in opponent James Hubbard has 333 votes.

Carolyn Rios is leading in the race for Vice-President with 615 votes, over write-in candidate Mark Ryavec with 378 votes.

Jacob Kaufman is leading in the race for Chair of the Land Use and Planning Committee with 352 votes over Adam Glick with 331 votes.

Mark Saltzberg is leading with 605 votes over the write-in candidate Anthony Perez with 63 votes for Outreach Officer.

Among the candidates for At-Large Community Officers, the leaders at this writing are Mariana Aguilar with 166 votes; Ivonne Guzman with 107 votes; and Ira Koslow and Jed Pauker with 78 votes each. An unidentified write-in candidate also has 103 votes.

For the seat of Factual Basis Community Officer, Amanda Seward is leading with 531 votes.

For the positions of Secretary, Treasurer, and Communications Officer, Joe Murphy, Hugh Harrison, and Brennan Lindner are running uncontested.
