Crossroads Boys Clinch League Title:

The Crossroads Roadrunner’s boys baseball team clinched the Delphic League title with powerful performances on both sides of the ball last week. On May 11, Crossroads’ Holden Miller pitched a complete game and allowed only one hit as the Roadrunners ran all over Pasadena’s Marshall High School in a 15-0 thrashing.

They followed that with an encore performance on May 13, beating Marshall by double digits again to head into the playoffs with their nine-game winning streak intact. The Roadrunners will face the Viewpoint Patriots on Friday for the first round of the CIF playoffs.

The Crossroads Softball team ended their shortened season with a win and a loss. The lady Roadrunners (Acceptable reference?) took an 8-3 win over Marshall on May 11, but fell to Campbell Hall 4-3 on May 13. They ended the season at 5-5.
