The L.A. County Fair kicks off this weekend with a opening weekend deal of $1 admission from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., as well as countless discount tickets and constant promotions for a reduced price, every day through Oct. 3!
With the average Fair guest easily walking over 4,000 steps while exploring the fairgrounds, the L.A. County Fair is the perfect destination for those looking for a little entertainment to accompany their daily dose of physical activity. What better way to burn calories than a stroll alongside life-sized animatronic dinosaurs at Jurassic Planet or flying down a zip-line at A Pirate’s Life, then cooling off in the brand-new L.A. on Ice exhibit. There are also countless varieties of foods to snack on from all walks of life and new for 2010 is Our Body: The Universe Within. This exhibit provides the opportunity for visitors to learn about the fascinating interworkings of the human body and is a wonderful way to teach kids about developing healthy lifestyle habits.
