Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club inaugurates a free history lecture series with Families of the Rancho Boca de Santa Monica. Speakers Terri de la Peña and Sharon Reyes will trace their heritage as the descendants of the Rancho Marquez and Reyes families, recipients of the 1839 Mexican land grant for all Santa Monica Canyon, who played a vital role in the development of Santa Monica as we know it today.
