Flags from 109 different countries flew at Corsair Field on Tuesday as 550 students from Santa Monica College (SMC) graduated with an Associates Degree. Each flag had a representative who graduated.

SMC broadcast the graduation online to those loved ones from around the world who were unable to attend.

Dr. Robert J. Birgeneau, Chancellor of the University of California-Berkeley, gave the commencement address and was happy to announce over 200 of Tuesday’s graduates will attend Cal-Berkeley.
