Downtown Santa Monica Inc. Promotes Debbie Lee To Vice President:

As part of restructuring efforts designed to streamline operations, Downtown Santa Monica, Inc. (DTSM), has announced Debbie Lee, formerly Director of Marketing, has been promoted to Vice President.

In her new role, Lee will be responsible for overseeing all operations for the company that manages services, operations and marketing in Downtown Santa Monica.

The move is part of a larger restructuring effort designed to help the organization focus on large, strategic planning efforts for the future, while ensuring that all operational objectives for Downtown are met.

“For the last year and a half, we have successfully executed strong maintenance, operational and marketing initiatives as part of the launch of the Property Based Assessment District and new brand,” said Kathleen Rawson, CEO, DTSM. “As we look to the future and all that will impact Downtown, we began looking at ways we could restructure our staff and organization to better address the day-to-day needs, while creating more room for strategic planning for Downtown Santa Monica’s growth.”

Moving forward, Lee will be responsible for managing existing program implementation, overseeing management of the Ambassador, maintenance and marketing programs, as well as all day-to-day initiatives.
